Great stuff! Keep them coming. Now I'm eager to see the movie Julia/Julie due out in August. And I'm hungry, too.

Ah, I miss the days when I could eat "Chinese" food and not worry about the carbs, MSG / sodium, and trans fats! Oh, sweet and sour pork, how you made be the chubby boy that was! And how I long for you today.

But I rest in the knowledge that I'm probably still getting a little (tainted) Chinese nutrition every day, whether embodied in imported ingredients from the local restaurant or vitamin supplements originated in that far off and oh-so-unconcerned-about-American-consumers'-health land. It's probably just as bad for me... but doesn't taste as good!

UNCLE SAM WANTS ROUX

From questing for perfected spice,
To questioning defected spies,
Both chef and agent seek expedience
To break the code of secret ingredients.
